The organisms are classified according to the classical system of classification proposed by the Carolus Linnaeus in 1735. This system of classification arranged the organisms into seven hierarchical orders of taxon arranged from the most inclusive group at the top of the hierarchy to the least inclusive group at the bottom in the hierarchy.
The most inclusive group is Kingdom followed by phylum, class, order, family, genus and species when arranged in the descending order. Among the given options- phylum is the most inclusive group which contains most species as compared to another taxon.
