Introduction

Hello! I hope you are having a nice day. My name is Galaxy and I will be helping you today!
We can solve this problem in two steps, one being the Formula / Theory and another being Solving.
If you do have any questions, feel free to ask them in the comments and I'll happily answer them. I'll start off with the Formula section now.

Formula

The formula for finding the distance can be solving using the formula in which is the distance, is the rate, and is the time.
The formula is used a lot in Science and Physics and is a formula that is worth remembering.

Solving

Since we know the rate, which is 32 and we know that the time is 16 seconds, we can use our formula and begin to solve it.
I'll do everything line by line with an explanation to make it easier to understand.
1. Substitution
We can substitute our values into our equation to make it solvable.
2. Simplification
We can now make the problem easier for us by using Unit Analysis, this will make it so that we can make the units make sense for us and this is used to make proper equations.
Notice how we've separated the units to make it easier to interpret.
We can now cancel out the bottom seconds from meters over seconds to get our unit of meters.
After solving, we get our final answer of 512 meters in 16 seconds.
Have a nice day!
