Part 1
When the solar atmosphere accumulates a lot of magnetic energy
to a point that cannot accumulate more, all that magnetic energy is suddenly released,
and with it, a lot of radiation. So much, that in fact it covers all of the
electromagnetic spectrum; from radio waves to gamma rays. That burst of
radiation is called a solar flare. In a single solar flare the amount of
radiation released is millions of times greater than all the nuclear bombs in
the face if the earth exploding together. Lucky for us, most of the high-energy
radiation dissipates before reaching the Earth, and the radiation that do reach
us, is deflected by the Earth’s magnetic field.
Part 2
1. Not all the radiation
of solar flares that reach the Earth is deflected by its magnetic field; some
of them reach us and charges the upper atmosphere with ionized particles. Those
particles react with the gases in the atmosphere and produce a light; that
light is what we call Auroras borealis or southern nights; One the most beautiful
natural spectacles in earth, who thought Auroras begin their lives as deadly
solar flares.
2. Solar flares
contain a lot of high-energy radiation that is extremely dangerous for our
electronic devices; when they reach the Earth, they can damage sensible
electronics like satellites. A very powerful solar flare could even damage all
the electronic devices on the surface of the Earth.
Karst is a topography formed from the dissolution of soluble rocks such as limestone, dolomite, and gypsum. It is characterized by underground drainage systems with sinkholes and caves. It has also been documented for more weathering- resistant rocks, such as quartzite, given the right conditions.
B
because it will pick it up while coming down not just flowing on low land
The best answer is b) increased turbidity from erosion.
Nonpoint source pollution generally happens as a result of many systems interacting, and is not directly attributed to one event or pollutant. Generally, natural environmental systems participate in pollution of this kind, regardless of whether or not human activity was a factor. Examples include water runoff, or erosion.
The other pollutants listed have a direct cause and direct effect, the animal waste goes directly from the animals to the ground they live on, the car shop directly sumps the oil on the ground, and the oil tank leaks directly into the earth. Erosion causing turbidity is a less direct form of pollution, and is due to the synthesis of several natural phenomena
Answer:
So airplane will be 1324.9453 m apart after 2.9 hour
Explanation:
So if we draw the vectors of a 2d graph we see that the difference in angles is = 83 - 44.3 =
Distance traveled by first plane = 730×2.9 = 2117 m
And distance traveled by second plane = 590×2.9 = 1711 m
We represent these distances as two sides of the triangle, and the distance between the planes as the side opposing the angle 38.7.
Using the law of cosine, representing the distance between the planes, we see that:
d = 1324.9453 m
