Hey I have posted a picture the method I use to solve simultaneous equations is change the sign and follow the new sign.
This involves changing the sign for the second equation and solving it
The difference is 105
3^2 - 2 + 7 =
(3 x 3) - 2 + 7 =
9 - 2 + 7 = 14
5^3 - 4^2 + 10 =
( 5 x 5 x 5) - ( 4 x 4) + 10
125 - 16 + 10 = 119
119 - 14 = 105
