One person might be right next to the fight while the other person is getting lunch in the cafetera, away from the fight. Now lets say the two people were right next to each other in the exact same place regarding the proximity to the fight. One person could be able to see the fight clearly, while the other one is blocked by a football player and therefore can not see, but can hear. These are all things that can impact the story that two people tell of the same event, not to mention there is a possibility that one of them could not be paying attention.
