I think its C. maybe it might be the drugs, because drugs can make someone 'high' but the also the beauty of the song that overwhelms him. Wheather he is on drugs or not, he feels drowsy and numb. something that makes him recall his past or his lover?
I think that summer season is better than winter season for a few reasons. One of them is the activities. I prefer to swim, play on the beach, and eat ice cream. While you can still eat ice cream in the winter, it is more pleasant to do so in the warmer months. You can also garden easier in the summer season. I also prefer summer clothes. While it is hot, you are not wearing a huge baggy coat that you may wear during winter.
