Scientist, inventor and captain of the submarine Nautilus, Nemo has resigned to live in society crossing the seas with a desire of investigation and trying to sink ships with English flag, in his thirst for revenge. He is a character that hides his true identity, dark and mysterious, with a sense of own justice. But he is also a fighter, an idealist. Of Indian roots but having received his education in Europe, Nemo is a great reader.
Nemo's physical qualities are: self-confidence, firm, calm, cool and confident gaze, serenity, energy, ("demonstrated by the rapid contraction of his superciliary muscles"), pride and courage ("which could be deduced from his powerful breathing as a sign of a great vital expansion "). Likewise, tall stature, broad forehead, straight nose, hands were thin and elongated, eyes excessively separated from each other, very subtle mouth and magnificent teeth.
Professor Pedro Arronax, passionate marine specialization biologist, assistant of the Natural History Museum of Paris. It aimed to eliminate the "monster" that attacked and sinked boats. When captured by Nemo, within the Nautilus he was able to observe many marine species from the depths of the ocean. He also spent long hours detailing and taking note of everything that happened in the submarine, analyzing in detail the behavior of Captain Nemo with society.
Both characters, scientists and cults passionate about marine fauna. The profesor and narrator is an active part of society and Nemo, the real protagonist of history, is expelled from society because of the pain it causes him.
