I believe that bullying has become a serious problem. Many teenage deaths are often due to the fact that students are bullied, typically for race, gender, or physical features, leading to many deaths. Not only that, but many teens are forced to change their beliefs to try and fit in, many teens go into smoking and early opioid use to try and seem cool because if they don't, they'll be made fun of. Bullying can be anything from saying a simple mean word to often physical harm. No matter how big or small it is, bullying is extremely harmful and is a serious problem, something as little as a single word can lead innocent people into harming themselves.
I believe that bullying has become a serious problem because people feel the need to be better than others. People constantly need reassurance as to why they are the best and sometimes a bit of reassurance is just fine, but people decide to put others down so they can go higher but that's not how it works. We can all succeed without putting others down. Bullying is such a big problem but people decide to turn a blind eye, avoid helping others that are being bullied or just ignore it general. That is NOT ok. Bullying has become so normalized and people do it for fun. It is NOT fun for the victim and it is not fun to do it either. People get hurt physically and mentally. This takes a toll on people's general health and self-esteem. Victims of bullying are pushed aside or ignored they feel like them being bullied is not important. These lingering feelings make people stay quite and the people who do care and do something about it don't know that they are being bullied. It is a serious problem because people get hurt and people nowadays avoid helping victims.
