Answer: Not all minorities are equally entitled to special treatment, because not all minorities have a need for it.

Very few of us are against special treatment for those with a need for it. Handicap parking spaces, seating, and restroom stalls are special treatment, but they’re necessities to allow people who are not like the majority to still be a part of society. There is no visible movement against them because they are reasonable and fair.

Disability rights still have a long way to go, and there are many people with disabilities who cannot integrate due to a lack of accommodations.

Those within less consequential minority groups, such as skin color, orientation, or sexual preference, do not need special treatment and so they should not receive it. So long as they are receiving equal and fair treatment, they have the same general ability to thrive as those in the majority.
