The way by which the organism responds to the stimuli is called as behavior. Behavior can be defined as the range of actions and mannerism made by the individualism, organisms, in conjugation with the environment.
The behavior varies with individual as it is specific to the organism. An organism might respond to the stimuli say in a negative way.
Another organism might respond to the stimuli in a positive way. This depends on the type of stimuli and organism.
Specific to plants: phototropism (leaves growing towards the sun), hydrotropism (roots growing to or away from moisture), geotropism (plants growing towards the center of the earth)
If two homozygous plants with contrasting traits are crossed, the
expected genotypes for the offspring will be heterozygous. The
dominant trait would be expressed, but they'd be carriers for the
recessive trait.
Marker/Recognition proteins extend across the cell membrane and serve to identify the cell. The immune system uses these proteins to tell good cells from foreign invaders.
