An example of a hypothesis for an experiment might be: “A basketball will bounce higher if there is more air it”
Step one would be to make an observation... “hey, my b-ball doesn’t have much air in it, and it isn’t bouncing ver high”
Step two is to form your hypothesis: “A basketball will bounce higher if there is more air it”
Step three is to test your hypothesis: maybe you want to drop the ball from a certain height, deflate it by some amount and then drop it from that same height again, and record how high the ball bounced each time.
Here the independent variable is how much air is in the basketball (what you want to change) and the dependent variable is how high the b-ball will bounce (what will change as a result of the independent variable)
Step four is to record all of your results and step five is to analyze that data. Does your data support your hypothesis? Why or why not?
You should only test one variable at a time because it is easier to tell why the results are how they are; you only have one cause.
Hope this helps!
Answer:
Chemical bonds
Explanation:
The chemical bonds hold the different type atoms or ions together.
The type of chemical bonds :
1. Ionic bond ;
Ions or atoms changes the electron and form ionic bond.Those atoms gains the electron gets negative charge and those atoms donate the electron gets positive charge.
2.Covalent bond :
In this type of bond atoms share the electrons and form covalent bonds.
3. Metallic bond :
This type of bond are present in the metals.In this atoms are used free electrons to form bonds.
Therefore answer is --

Answer:
A: The acceleration is 7.7 m/s up the inclined plane.
B: It will take the block 0.36 seconds to move 0.5 meters up along the inclined plane
Explanation:
Let us work with variables and set
As shown in the attached free body diagram, we choose our coordinates such that the x-axis is parallel to the inclined plane and the y-axis is perpendicular. We do this because it greatly simplifies our calculations.
Part A:
From the free body diagram we see that the total force along the x-axis is:
Now the force of friction is where is the normal force and from the diagram it is
Thus
Therefore,
Substituting the value for we get:
Now acceleration is simply
The negative sign indicates that the acceleration is directed up the incline.
Part B:
Which can be rearranged to solve for t:
Substitute the value of and and we get:
which is our answer.
Notice that in using the formula to calculate time we used the positive value of , because for this formula absolute value is needed.
Answer:
5.02 m
Explanation:
Applying the formula of maximum height of a projectile,
H = U²sin²Ф/2g...................... Equation 1
Where H = maximum height, U = initial velocity, Ф = angle, g = acceleration due to gravity.
Given: U = 46 ft/sec = 14.021 m/s, Ф = 45°
Constant: g = 9.8 m/s²
Substitute these values into equation 1
H = (14.021)²sin²45/(2×9.8)
H = 196.5884×0.5/19.6
H = 5.02 m.
Hence the ball goes 5.02 m high
answer is 36
because the formulae of momentum is
