Mum knew that I had been fighting, and wanted to know what had happened. I froze. My heart flew out of my chest as icy shivers dripped down my face, she could never know the truth, it would kill her. As much as I love my mum, I would never follow in her ways, the twisted secrets and broken friendships, it was not a good way to live, but I guess it was her way.
