In word processing softwares, you can remove sections of a text and keep it readily available to copy it elsewhere with the function of “cut” (the shortcut key for this function is Ctrl+C). This function, when writing and editing a text is probably one of the most used functions for it lets you modify the text at will without having to lose the text that is cut. You should be aware that the function only keeps one cut text at the time, so that if you use the function twice in a row, the second text cut will be the one that is available to past it.
