2. The steady increase of the carbon dioxide will result in higher temperatures because it is a greenhouse gas that has the ability to trap the heat. This means that organisms that are better suited for warmer climates will thrive, while the others will either have to adapt, or go extinct. Also, the higher amount of carbon dioxide and warmer weather conditions will result in longer growing season, thus more producers will be able to thrive as the carbon dioxide is crucial for them to perform photosynthesis.
3. If the population of cyanobacteria starts to increase dramatically, then the area will experience multiple changes. The cyanobacteria will extract large amounts of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, thus lowering its levels, while in the same time releasing large amounts of oxygen in the atmosphere.
