During Poe´s time, many important world changes occurred. let´s take 3 of them
1. Poe was born in 1809 as well as Abraham Lincoln and Charles Darwin.
2. in 1812, The war between the USA and The UK started.
3. many great literature pieces were written during the 1800´s like "Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley, "The Giaour" by Lord Byron., "Oliver Twist" by Charles Dickens.
The 1800´s was a prolific period, several "great minds" were born or did their 1st work. Today they are well-known and respected for their contribution to the world.
As you read the passage, which of these answers makes sense when it comes to Elmer? Looking through it, I see that Elmer was a child at the time of the story and was on an adventure. So, to say he was lazy does not make sense. Since he was a child looking for a dragon, it is unlikely that bravery was a part of this scenario. That leaves foolish or lost. He as stood there for awhile watching the lion, so I would say that foolish is the best answer.

Well, from my experience, it would be prewriting. Prewriting is where you come up and brainstorm ideas. Its when you scribble ideas and write out a plan on the direction that you want your paper to head to, where you would write a list or draw a picture on key points you want to hit on the paper.
