Whales play an important role in stabilizing the aquatic food chain and reproduction of other species.
As more whales are killed the food distribution in the ocean becomes destabilized and causes changes in the food supply of many other kinds of marine life.
Whales are vital to the food chain, stabilising food flow and maintaining a healthy ocean.
As such, the rapidly decreasing whale population will have major effects on the ocean's ecosystem.
Believe it or not, whale poop also serves quite an important purpose to the ecosystem.
While living organisms contain a number of different elements, some elements are found in greater abundance in living organisms. These elements are oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium and phosphorus.
The event order should be:
1. Ingesting food, the small bowel filled with food solutes and become hypertonic. It will attract water from the blood which is hypotonic
2. Food digested, some of it absorbed. The osmotic pressure inside bowel will be reduced.
3. All food is absorbed, the osmotic pressure reduced significantly makes it hypotonic. The blood attracts water as it is hypertonic. This will increase the blood volume
Some plants are able to withstand extreme weather conditions
Gravity
Plant roots always grow downward because specialized cells in root caps detect and respond to gravity. This is an example of a tropism. A tropism is a turning toward or away from a stimulus in the environment. Growing toward gravity is called geotropism.
