To focus a microscope using a lens of high power in the following way:
1. Place the specimen slide on the stage.
2. Turn the revolving turret and focus the lens over the specimen.
3. Look at the stage and the objective lens from the side and move the stage upward.
4. Move the object as up as it can go taking care of that objective lens do not touch the coverslip.
5. Move the focus knob until the image comes into focus after viewing from the eyepiece.
