The 117th Christmas Bird Count is now over. As usual in January, I will discuss the highlights of some of the Maine counts. These standardized censuses provide an important tool to monitor the abundance of winter birds throughout North America and beyond.
I’ll concentrate on changes in regularly wintering birds, the arrival of unpredictable invaders and records of lingering birds whose wintering areas are well to our south. A rarity or two may pop up as well.
We’ll start with the southern Maine coast. The York County count was held on Dec. 21. Thirty observers found 82 species of birds.
The question is incomplete as it does not have the options which are:
A) creatine phosphate.
B) glycolysis.
C) substrate phosphorylation.
D) oxidative phosphorylation.
E) de novo synthesis.
Answer:
D) oxidative phosphorylation.
Explanation:
The ATP is the energy molecule which provides energy to every metabolic process in the organism.
The ATP in humans is produced by a process called cellular respiration where the last phase of the process called electron transport chain produces the highest amount of protein. The electron transport chain is also known as the oxidative phosphorylation as the oxygen is gained and electrons are lost during the phase.
Thus, D) oxidative phosphorylation is correct.
Answer: I’m not sure how I am supposed to answer this question but I would just draw an endocrine system and nervous

Answer: Cohesion
Explanation:
The cohesive attraction or cohesive forces is the action or property of like molecules which stick together.
It can be intrinsic forces that can be caused by the structure and shape of water. This allows the water molecules to stick to each other.
Due to this phenomenon of water it has a spherical shape and it flows in a liner motion.
Hence, the force that is present between two water molecules is cohesion.
