Imagine you are lost while on a trip. You stop and ask for directions. The gas station clerks instructions are as follows: "Go s
traight down 571 to the yellow blinking light; turn right; keep going til you see the old, red barn barn; that is where the Thompsons used to live; they were a nice family; turn left on the next dirt road; the county was supposed to pave it years ago; go about 3 miles or so and look for the little creek. It might be dried up these days. The house you want is about 2 miles on the right. It might still be white. They were thinking about painting it last summer." As you left, you realize that you had difficulty ___ the message.
This is in third person PoV (likely omniscient to be precise). This is known because the readers know almost every thought and emotion of each character.
Examples of this are provided throughout. Just find quotes about the character's thoughts/feelings. :)
