The correct version of this text is the following:
Georgia was the 4th state to be admitted to the Union, on January 2nd, 1788. It is bordered by Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida, South Carolina, Alabama and the Atlantic Ocean. Though exactly 2/3 of Georgia's population is urban, the state's farms rank high in producing poultry, hogs, pecans, and peanuts. During the Civil War, Gen. Sherman marched about 60 000 troops through Georgia, burning Atlanta in his wake.
The United States' first African-American ambassador to the United Nations, Andrew Young, came from Georgia. Two other famous Georgia natives are Dr Martin Luther King Jr. and Jimmy Carter, the former President of the US. Every year, Georgia draws thousands of tourists to its beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, mysterious Okefenokee Swamp, and genteel city squares of Savannah.

REMEMBER: if you will use numbers, you should always be consistent and keep them throughout the whole text. Avoid combining numbers and words that express numbers.
