If we write y=f(x)=(x-h)²+k, then y-k=(x-h)². This is vertex form where the vertex is (h,k)=(3,3) so h and k are both 3. We can see this if we put x=3 in the shifted function. This is a minimum point for the function because for every other x f(x) is greater then 3. The minimum point is the vertex.
The answer would be 640. To find the number of how many copies are produced in 1 minute you have to write 80 divided by 5 which equals 16. Now you multiply 16 and the 40 minutes which gives you 640 copies.
In mathematical form, it would be:
n-8 < 11
add 8 from both sides,
n-8+8 < 11+8
n < 19
So, n value must be less than 19
