Im assuming you mean 2x^2-3x-9=0 ?
If so, you have to factorise the equation
(2x-3) (x+3) = 0
2x - 3 = 0
2x = 3
x = 1.5
x + 3 = 0
x = -3
x is either 1.5 or -3
- How do you simplify this?
- x²y+xy² / y²+2/5 × xy
Factor the expressions that are not already factored.
_____
<u>How </u><u>to</u><u> factorise</u><u> </u><u>:</u><u>-</u>
<u>NUMERATOR</u>
Factor out xy.
<u>DENOMINATOR</u>
Factor out 1/5.
_____
Continuing...
Cancel out y in both the numerator and denominator.
Expand the expression.
This can further simplified to as
0
The answer is C
Ik this bc
Someone told me
The answer would be J because if the equation was transferred into a positive then it would be 2y and 5x marking 5x on the bottom and 2y vertically.
Hope this helps!!
Divide the top by bottom. So 17 divided by 4. Which would be around 4.25
