An easy-ish way to graph something in slope-intercept form is to use the y-intercept and the slope because that info is given.
the y -int is when x = 0 and then y would equal -1/2. (0,-1/2)
then the slope is 3/4 which is rise over run so go three up (rise) and 4 across (run). make sure that your line has a positive slope ( / ) because the slope is positive in the equation, not negative ( \ )
You now have 2 points. Draw a line connecting the two points.
Use the site called Desmos, it's a graphing calculator and should help you in all the ways you need. It isn't complex. Just put that equation in a box and it graphs it for you.
