Once upon a time, there lived an old farmer in a village. He was diligent in his work and living a peaceful life. As he reached an old age, he was unable to work as actively as before. Eventually, he fell seriously ill and was bed ridden because of his illness. He was on death bed. He had four sons. All his sons were lazy. They never helped their father in the fields. Farmer was worried about their future. The old farmer knew he would not survive so he thought of a plan to teach them the importance of hard work. He summoned his sons and said, "I want to share something important with you all. There is a treasure that lies hidden in the fields. If you dig it well, you will find that treasure which is full of gold coins." After saying this, he died. After the old farmer's death, his sons went to the field and start digging the soil to find the treasure. The worked hard and continued digging the field for many days but could find no treasure. As a result of their hard work, the soil got fertile and yielded a high quality, rich crop. The sons understood their father's plan. They realized that there was no treasure but the rich crop was the real treasure which they get as a result of their hard work. They realized their folly and began to work hard.
