Put the x-values in the left column and y-values in right column.

Now, remember that the slope is equal to rate of change
or the change in y over the change in x.
To find the change in y, we can see that the y-values go
from 4 to 6 so the change in y is 2.
The x-values go from -4 to -6 so the change in x is -2.
So the change in y over the change in x is 2/-2.
This reduces to -1.
So the slope of the line is -1.
