Answer: The molality of potassium hydroxide solution is 0.608 m
Explanation:
We are given:
3.301 mass % of potassium hydroxide solution.
This means that 3.301 grams of potassium hydroxide is present in 100 grams of solution
Mass of solvent = Mass of solution - Mass of solute (KOH)
Mass of solvent = (100 - 3.301) g = 96.699 g
To calculate the molality of solution, we use the equation:
Where,
= Given mass of solute (KOH) = 3.301 g
= Molar mass of solute (KOH) = 56.1 g/mol
= Mass of solvent = 96.699 g
Putting values in above equation, we get:
Hence, the molality of potassium hydroxide solution is 0.608 m

If I am correct, yes. As I was told in chemistry, the surface area affects the dissolving of the "sugar". If you put regular Surat in a hot cup of coffee, it will dissolve at a quick pace, but what if you put the same amount of sugar in the same amour of coffee, but the sugar was fine powder? It would dissolve even faster since it has more surface area. So temperature does affect the dissolving. Hope this helps!
Answer:
For the first question its C, Gas
For the second one table
Explanation:
The faster particles move, the more kinetic energy they have. Within a given substance, such as water, particles in the solid state have the least amount of kinetic energy. Particles in the liquid state move faster than particles in the solid state. Therefore, they have more kinetic energy.
For metamorphism of rock to occur, temperature and pressure must
increase. Rocks created in this manner are called metamorphic
rocks.
