The <em>cerebrum</em> is the anterior-most part of the brain is also known as the <em>forebrain</em>. As can be seen in the figure, it is the <em>largest part</em> of the brain and is characterized by the presence of <em>several fissures.</em>
This part of the brain is mainly responsible for the integration of the sensory and neuronal signals generated in the body as well as for coordinating the voluntary actions.
