The left and the right ventricles are the two chambers that are present towards the base of the heart and receive oxygenated and deoxygenated blood from left atrium and right atrium respectively.
The chamber/ cavity of left ventricle is more elongated and conical shaped as compared to the right ventricle.
In a transverse section, its cavity is presented as an oval structure or somewhat with circular outline. It extends from left atrioventricular valve ( bicuspid valve, which is located in the left atrium) to the heart apex.
The right ventricle is of triangular shape and extends from the right atrioventricular valve ( also known as tricuspid valve, which is located in the right atrium) to the heart apex.
The cavity of right ventricle is larger I believe. This is due for the fact that the left ventricle is thicker in muscle so may have a smaller cavity. I’ve also performed dissections lol.
Scientists often use models of Earth to study the movement of earth and it's moon. They figure out what the distance is from the moon to the point between earth and moon where the gravitational pulls of earth and moon are equal.
