Answer and Explanation:
Hrothgar and Grendel are characters in the famous epic poem "Beowulf". Grendel is described as a man-eating monster, void of feelings and empathy. However, none of King Hrothgar's men is willing to challenge and defeat Grendel. The reason for that is the fact that they believe Grendel will certainly kill them if they challenge him. The King's men think "distance [is] safety". Only those who fled survived Grendel's fury. Therefore, they are not willing to risk their lives. As we know, it is the hero of the story, the warrior Beowulf who will kill Grendel.

There are many reasons why textbooks are better than technology. The first reason why textbooks are better than technology is because technology can stop working, meanwhike there would be no delay or problems when using a textbook. The second reason why textbooks are better than technology is because it leaves very little ways for students to get distracted while learning. Computers give students the opportunity to go off task, meanwhile physical textbooks don't provide any distractions. The last reason why textbooks are better than technology is because not everyone has access to computers at home, or even sometimes at their school. Providing physical textbooks gives each student an equal opportunity to learn. Some might argue that using technology is better than using textbooks, but technology can be very untrustworthy in a learning environment, and can cause more stress on the teacher and sometimes the students. All things considered, this is why textbooks are better than technology.
