First-Person point of view is when you use terms such as "I" and "Me" and "We." Depending on what your short story is about, You'd be like, "Today, I found a delicious worm in a wonderfully saturated yard full of grass. I was so hungry, so it really was a treasure. My friend Sam was with me, and he found a delicious worm, too!" Use the point of view and imagine what your life would be like as a bird. I'm sure you can find a bird somewhere outside around you. Look at it. It might help. If your trying to do a fiction story about a bird, like how Guardian of Ga'Hoole is, or something, maybe research some of those and find excerpts from them to see how it's done.
