Answer: He asks questions and then answers them to lead the audience.
Explanation: He asks questions such as "Are fleets and armies necessary to a work of love and reconciliation?" to support his argument that the British cannot be trusted if they are bringing troops.
I think they would react by being sad momentarily but looking at this as a positive, knowing they need to study harder for the next exam, as well as going back over the exam taken to figure out what they got wrong and work to understand those concepts
Foreshadowing
Usually someone in the story will try to sound cool but in all honesty they know exactly what's going down
The reader would know the thoughts of all the characters. ... Writers expect readers to remember these feelings when they describe certain scenes, and they hope readers will make inferences based on these feelings.
