Well as a Percy Jackson fan, there was many hints. Such as, him hating his dad(Hermès). Also, his future was sealed, and his dad saw his future, and couldn’t bare to tell him, which lead him to believe the gods never listened or cared for the demigods.
I oppose Kaepernick's actions because he could do so many other beneficial things besides just sit down. He could donate to a multitude of organizations, etc. However, I support his cause.
