First, whats the defintion of mean? Ill tell you:)
Mean: The mean is the average of the numbers; a calculated (central) value of a set of numbers.
How to find it?
We add all of the scores together and then divide them by the number of scores.
So first lets work on Rolanda's Mean.
They gave us the numbers 20, 15, and 16
1st. Lets add
20 + 15 + 16 = 51
2nd. Divide by 3 since their are 3 test scores
51 ÷ 3 = 17
So rolanda's mean is 17!

Now lets work on Jetta's mean.
They gave us the numbers 16, 19, and 17
1st. Lets add.
16 + 19 + 17 = 52
2nd. Divide by 3 since their are 3 test scores.
52 ÷ 3 = 17.333333333333333
So jetta's mean is 17.333333333333333
Now lets compare:)
Rolanda's mean = 17
Jetta's mean = 17.33333333333333333
Obviously, whos is bigger?
