Amongst all these factors it is only option C i.e. "Evaporation of water from the oceans" which has nothing to do with carbon cycle because in evaporation of water, water (H2O) simply changes state from liquid to gaseous phase and carbon is not at all involved. In carbon cycle, carbon moves from biotic factors to abiotic factors or vice versa i.e. from living organisms to non living environment or from non living environment back to living organism. In photosynthesis carbon is captured and fixed by plant so that means carbon moves from environment to living organism (plant). In respiration, carbon is lost to the environment from plant i.e. it moves back to the environment from the plant body. In decay of plant also carbon moves back to the environment from the bodyof dead plants with the help of decomposers.
