The oesophagus is the pipe that connects the pharynx to the Stomach.
The muscle found at the lower region of the esophagus is not able to close. This then allows the stomach acid and digested food to move back up into the esophagus.
This anomaly thereby results in discomfort. In most cases there are no serious health challenges relating to it.
