mom dad always keep on warning me about the consequences and serious effects or damages that drugs may have on our life. they say that for many and many years drugs have been ravaging our lives and to never be a victim of it. one of the biggest influencer will be your friends. so know who are your real friends, be careful about them. but being a teenager, wanting to experience life i fell in the trap of my friends. it all started by one day we were playing football on the pitch, they approached me with a candy selling it to me. looking nice, attractive and yummy i tempted to try it. days went and i kept looking for those friends as so to buy the candies again. after 1 year i was in the canteen, waiting for those boys to get my doses when a group of boys in front of me was talking about the gang in scool. i found out that they had added drugs to that candy and by that time i was already an addict to that candy. i do not resist. i wanted to quit. i wanted to start afresh. but it was too late. however, having my family and true friends by my side, i was sent to a rehab center. there, i was given treatments. at the rehab, i kept on thinking the time lost in that disgusting thig. i wanted time to go back when life was good. i lost half of my teenage in being a victim of drugs. from this , i learnt the biggest lesson of my life

The present perfect simple and the present perfect continuous are tenses we use when we want to talk about past actions or states that are still connected to the present.
The present perfect simple tells us that an action expressed by the verb is still going on or has recently stopped and that it still has an influence on the present. It's built like this: have/has + past participle.
The present perfect continuous tells us that an action started in the past and that it's still continuing in the present. It's built like this: has/have + been + present participle.
