When the blood enters the right ventricle it contracts and sends the blood through the Pulmonary valve before it reaches the Pulmonary artery which is passes the blood to the Lungs where it becomes oxygenated.
Hence we can conclude that Blood passes from the right ventricle to the <u>Pulmonary valve </u>and then the <u>Pulmonary artery</u> before reaching the lungs to pick up oxygen.
